Demand often exceeds our capacity.
Therefore, we encourage that parents complete the waitlist form for whichever center they are interested in as soon as possible. Find each center's waitlist form on their individual pages.
Although we may enroll children from the Bloomington community who do not have a current IU affiliation, the first priority for enrollment is given to children whose parents or legal guardians are current university faculty, staff, or students.
All three of our centers operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We may occasionally make an exception to this practice for the following reasons:
- Skipping over children on the waiting list to maintain age or gender balance in the classrooms.
- Siblings of younger children with an IU affiliation who are currently or have been previously enrolled will be given priority for enrollment if space is available.
- The children of our full-time and part-time childcare employees will be given enrollment priority.
Children with Disabilities
If your child has a disability and needs special assistance, arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
Please contact the Early Childhood Education Services office at 812 855-5053 for additional information about the procedure to request an accommodation for enrollment.
